Patient David Foreman tells his story how having a colonoscopy saved his life. Committed to the highest standards of care for all patients, Dr. Simmang currently serves as one of 14 surgeons, and the only 1 from Texas, on the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery, the national board that oversees certification for all Colon and Rectal surgeons. He is also the Chairman of Advisory Council for colon and rectal surgery to the American College of Surgeons, acting as a liaison between the ACS and the American Society of colon and rectal Surgeons to create the annual program for the colon and rectal society.
