Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the third leading cause of cancer death in both men and women in the United States. About 148000 new colorectal cancer cases are diagnosed each year. Screening can prevent many cases of colorectal cancer. Hear the story of patient Dennis Miliacca, who "dodged a bullet" when a colonoscopy identified pre-cancerous cells that, left untreated, could have resulted in colorectal cancer.
