Workout music
Workout music has become popular no matter whether the type of workout you do is aerobic exercises, bicycling, jogging or running. You could use this with headphones in a spa or gymnasium and create your own focused imaginary dance studio.
Playing workout music while you exercise helps in several ways. First, it gives you a measured beat so that you don’t slow down and lose the benefits of the aerobic portion. Many of the structured programs will even start a little slower and give you time to get warmed up before gradually picking up the tempo.
Many of the pieces available are disco type music, so you have plenty of excitement and vitality in the pieces. No chance of getting sleepy listening to these tunes. The driving tempo and strong beat seems to energize. Trainers know that the benefits of music are multiple. It gets you energized and focused; it’s a signal to your brain that blood and circulatory systems are now going to move.
It helps to tune out the outside world and just focus on the music and movement. The sounds are forceful and aggressive and help to keep your rhythm going on the treadmill or bicycle.
You can choose from classic rock, hard rock, Latin, techno or country. Many of these CD’s or MP3’s are recorded in 30 minute sessions or you can put two back-to-back for an extra effective workout music session.
You also have a selection of music for a yoga workout or for the stretching routines in preparation for a more strenuous exercise set.
For walking, stair climbing or elliptical exercises, this workout music helps to maintain the tempo of your workout. You want to keep the heart rate up in order to provide the highest cardiovascular benefits and the beat of the music helps maintain your speed. These are not just throwaway songs either; these are songs you will recognize from the genre that you choose.
For instance, if you choose Classical rock you can get a version of “Natural Woman” or “Do U Wanna Dance.” These are high energy, stepped up tempo, but the sound and style is perfect for inspiration to keep moving.
For a change of pace, try one of the country genre selections available. The beat and strong assertiveness of the music is there, even the quickened tempo, but the country songs are ones you can sing along with as you go through your workout routine.

Bodybuilding.com Bodyspace: Mwingo1135 405 LBS x11 Deadlift/Rack Pulls.
12 weeks ago I could not do 315 LBS x 1. This is an exercise I love and recorded at the end of lifting for 12 weeks taking a supplement called Serious Mass from optimum nutrition for Bodybuilding.com s $100000 transformation contest. I wanted to do 10 reps but realized I did 11. Time to go up in weight!

My 90 Day Weight Loss Challenge (ViSalus) – Day 18
Today was the 18th day of my 90 day challenge. I was running late, due to the snow that just HAD to come back (grr…), so I only got a chance to get my weights in today at the gym, before I had to leave to get ready for bowling.
