It's multi-purpose, so you can use it on bare skin or as a primer. It might not seem a lot, but a little goes a long way! Just a small squeeze covers my t-zone (and cheeks), so technically my whole face!! It's fantastic! And best of all, I have not broken out from this product! It's weightless! It controls my oil. It matte-ifies! It's so silky and smooth! LOOOVE IT!! "A matte-ifying cream that acts like a powder, M·A·C Matte adds a sheer, no-shine matte texture in one smooth layer.
