Microbial Nutrition Introduction
In this video I begin with the idea that most energy is produced by the electron transport chain, and all organisms including bacteria use some form of electron transport to produce a majority of their ATP. Bacteria nutrition types will be discussed phototrophs, chemoautotrophs, photoheterotrophs, and heterotrophs. The process of culturing bacteria will be discussed, MacConkey medium, and dilution streaking.
